So for those that don't read my 360 on yahoo my Dad passed away on Oct 7th. I got back from Toledo yesterday.

At work today. Blah so much email and issues to catch up with. Seem a US router went down. I have a flithy apt since I left everything I was in the middle of Saturday when I got the phone call from my brother and to be honest it wasn't as clean as it could be then either. (update) work just had a flowers sent to me. Nothing like making me sad while trying to be happy for the clients*blah again*.

Mom cried when I left. She realized the no one would be in the house after I came back to San Diego. She stated she didn't want me to move back since we would be at each others throats if I was living there. Plus, well the cold weather and snow are not my friends. I am sure after 48 yrs of marriage it will take her some time to adjust. If I could get her to get something smaller then a full size, extended cab with cap truck to drive. She lost sight in one eye many years ago and has adjusted well but I think the truck is just a bit much still. I am working on talking her into something like a Rav4. Not low like a car but not long like a truck. She is thinking that over. (update from earlier)When I was home I showed her how to replace the shower drain and shower head. The old drain broke so I undid it, let it drain, removed the whole piece from the tub, then showed mom how to use the putty and replace the drain she bought a new one. She did that today and was rather proud of herself.

Good news, Tania's son was healing enough to do spine surgery! this is great news as he had some infections and fevers preventing surgery. She said it took a long time but went better then expected.

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope that your Mom is doing okay and that things get easier for her.
